[25 August 2016] Tibetan Community in Britain is delighted to co-host an evening of culture, fun and positive vibes in support of Tibet Society, the world’s oldest Tibet NGO. Tibet Society is facing financial challenges at the moment and your help is urgently needed to sustain its work for the Tibetan people, especially at this critical time.

Prayer flags and mountain

Tibet Society will exhibit some of its historical photographs and magazines. Nawang N. Anja-Tsang’s latest film, A Mother’s Son, will also be shown at the event, for those who missed its premiere in July.

The benefit night will include:

  • Tibetan cultural performance
  • Film screening
  • Photo exhibition
  • Early Christmas shopping of Tibetan merchandise items
  • Guest appearance by Rt. Hon Norman Baker, President of Tibet Society
  • Food & drinks
  • Dance: A fusion of Tibetan, Bollywood and international music, making it a night to remember!

It continues to keep Tibet in the news through lobbying with the British Government and Members of Parliament from all sides of the house and through campaigning on human rights issues.
